Ardalan Amiri Sani
Biography
Ardalan Amiri Sani joined the CS department at UC Irvine in July 2015. He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the ECE department at Rice University, and his B.Sc. from Sharif University of Technology. Amiri Sani directs the Trustworthy Systems Lab (TrussLab). The lab’s research involves building trustworthy systems. Their projects are often at the intersection of mobile computing, security, and operating systems.
Amiri Sani’s research interests include mobile systems, operating systems, and virtualization. His research involves building efficient, high performance, and reliable system solutions. Recently, he has been working on the challenges and opportunities of the large number of Input and Output (I/O) devices appearing in modern computers from mobile systems to servers.
