The coaches discuss the rules
The issue was that Jennifer had to leave the game due to a twisted ankle. Players who leave the game for personal reasons are given an out at their next at-bat, but everyone eventually agreed that this shouldn't apply because the departure was due to an injury. The point ended up being moot, though, because Jennifer's at-bat didn't come around again before the game ended.
